20% of Americans haven’t seen a dentist in 2+ years. And whatever the reason why, emotions run deep. Embarrassment…being short on cash…fear and mistrust…or being one of the 74 million Americans who have no dental insurance.
So we decided to do things a bit differently with Aspen Dental: showcase real patients, telling their own stories, in their own words. Instead of focusing only on beautiful smiles, we focused on the beautiful people they’re attached to. We shot the TVC campaign on film, giving our commercials a raw authenticity.
And it turns out using real people really resonates. In the first half of 2019, the campaign generated record-breaking results - call volume rose, numbers of patients rose, revenue grew and lives were changed.
The content we captured went a long long way—we were able to continually optimize for TVC and repurpose for social and pre-roll.
